With the most recent MK1 patch, we got a lot of improvements to the game and an awesome new Character with Ermac. But did you know that there’s also a new secret brutality for every character?
The standard universal brutality available for all characters the classic uppercut that knocks your opponents head clear off, but as of season 5 there’s a new brutal that seems to be a callback to another classic fatality that we loved back in the day.
The new move can done by ending the finishing round with a throw and holding Up + 2 (Triangle / Y). In order for this to work, the opponent must have 15 or less health. It’s a fast throw, and pretty entertaining to watch as you launch your opponent into the screen!
The Mortal Kombat 1 secret screen Brutality might be a reference to the MK11‘s Raiden Brutality, where he would throw the opponent on the screen, and then blow them up with lightning. Or the similar Quan Chi fatality from MK4.
